Welcome to Megh Bari Eco Resort . These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) outline the rules and regulations governing your use of our website, booking system, and resort facilities. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms in full.

1. General Information

• Megh Bari Eco Resort (“We”, “Us”, “Our”) operates this website and the property located at Chakdaha, Nadia, West Bengal – 741222.
• By booking a room or using our website, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
• We reserve the right to amend these Terms without prior notice. Updated versions will be posted on our website.

2. Booking & Payment

• All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by the resort.
• Guests must provide accurate personal and contact information during booking.
• 50% advance payment is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance must be settled during check-in.
• Payments can be made via UPI, Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, Cash, or through our secure
  Razorpay.
• All prices mentioned are in INR (₹) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless specified otherwise.

3. Cancellation & Refunds

Our Cancellation & Refund Policy forms an integral part of these Terms.
Guests are advised to review it carefully before confirming their stay.

4. Check-in / Check-out

• Check-in Time: 1:00 PM
• Check-out Time: 10:30 AM
• Early check-in or late check-out is subject to room availability and may incur additional charges.
• Government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Passport, or Driving License) is mandatory at check-in for all guests.

5. Occupancy & Guest Policy

• Maximum occupancy is mentioned for each room category and must not be exceeded.
• Visitors are not allowed in guest rooms beyond 10:00 PM without prior approval.
• The resort reserves the right to refuse accommodation to any person deemed unsuitable or under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances.

6. Resort Rules & Conduct

To maintain a peaceful environment for all guests:

• Smoking is allowed only in designated areas or smoking rooms.
• Pets are welcome with prior notice and applicable charges.
• Loud music, parties, or disruptive behavior are strictly prohibited.
• Guests are responsible for their belongings. The resort shall not be liable for any loss, theft, or damage.
• Damage to property, furnishings, or equipment caused by guests will be charged at actual repair/replacement cost.

7. Restaurant & Dining

• Barsha – The Multicuisine Restaurant operates from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
• Both Buffet and À la Carte options are available.
• Alcohol is currently permitted under a BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) policy until license confirmation.

8. Payment Gateway & Online Transactions

• Online payments made through Razorpay are processed securely.
• Megh Bari Eco Resort is not responsible for any technical failures, bank delays, or transaction errors during payment.
• In case of double payment, excess amounts will be refunded after verification within 7–10 business days.

9. Child & Pet Policy

• Children 5–8 years: Charged 40% of the room tariff.
• Children above 10 years: Charged full tariff.
• Pets are allowed with prior intimation and additional charges.

10. Liability Disclaimer

While we take every effort to ensure a safe and comfortable stay, Megh Bari Eco Resort shall not be held liable for:

• Accidents, injuries, or illnesses occurring during your stay.
• Loss of valuables not deposited in our safety lockers.
• Events or situations beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural calamities, government restrictions).

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall fall under the jurisdiction of West Bengal courts only.
